Linda Ann Dutcher, 75, of Heppner, died Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington. At her request no service will be held.
She was born June 25, 1943 at Hanford, California, the daughter of Norman and Margaret Klslander Kessler. She was raised and attended school in Milton-Freewater, Oregon and graduated from Mc Loughlin High School. Linda then attended San Jose University majoring in Anthropology, but changed her major to education finishing her fifth year and received her Master’s Degree. Teaching was the love of her life, and Linda taught 22 years in Heppner.
On June 6, 1980 she married Lester Dutcher in La Grande, Oregon. She traveled throughout her life, living in; Biloxi, Mississippi, Adak, Alaska, Montana, La Grande, Oregon, Spray, Oregon and finally Heppner, Oregon.
Linda was preceded by death by her parents Norman and Margaret Kessler Sr. She is survived by her husband; Lester Dutcher of Heppner, three sons; Matthew Wilson, Daniel Wilson and Anthony Wilson, brothers; Norman Kessler Jr., Alan Kessler, and a sister Nancy Cole all of Pendleton, Oregon, and also many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s name to the donor’s favorite charity.
