Thomas Ray Wilson

Thomas R. Wilson, 84, of Heppner died, Sunday, April 26, 2020, in Hermiston. A private family graveside service was held Thursday, April 30, 2020 at the Heppner Masonic Cemetery. Tom was born to Perry and Lydia Cox Wilson in Monument Oregon, on March 4th, 1936. He spent most of his childhood in Monument and Hardman. Tom graduated from Heppner High School, class of 1956. Tom married Dorthy Vinson on June 24th, 1960. They had three children: Perry in 1961, Rowena in 1963 and Lisa in 1964. Dorthy died in January 2001. He married Faye Seitz in May 2003, they divorced in 2010. He worked at the Kinzua mill until his retirement in June 1998. After retirement he worked for a few farmers in the Heppner area, mostly during harvest. Tom is survived by his son Perry, his daughter Lisa Green, granddaughters Amber Maddex and Heather Ascherl and 4 great grandsons: sisters Grace Baker, Lolah Wilson, Betty Breeding and brother Floyd Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Wilson, wife Dorthy Wilson and daughter Rowena. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s charity of choice.
